Veterinary Careers

There are a huge variety of different careers and specialities within veterinary medicine, from general practitioners, to academics in research, to army vets.  

Qualified veterinarians have an obligation to deal with emergencies in any species at any time.  It is a highly demanding but satisfying career, that can take you all over the world! 

Qualified veterinarians are also required to complete a minimum number of hours of "continued professional development" or CPD training each year.  This is stipulated by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, to ensure that your veterinary knowledge stays up to date.
